Glen Dale – The Patriots of Wheeling Park have set up a healthy full effort on Monday in their first trip to the playoffs, while John Marshall's monarchs will have to bounce back with their playoff series after a 6-0 victory in the sectional softball action park.
With the victory in the double elimination section tournament, Park will now face Morgantown on Tuesday. The loser of this game will again face John Marshall later in the week.
On Monday, Bryn Ernest paved the path offensively for Park with three strokes, including one Home Run, one of the two for Park. Grace Tamburin also dominated the patriots.
Ernest finished with two products produced, as is Brenna Tipton. Ernest, Tipton, Tamburin and Kidoff Isabelle Thomas all had multi-cut efforts for the patriots, who had 14 strokes in all.
Delaney Randolph launched a full match for Park, broadcasting four strokes throughout the match and cutting two.

“I liked that we put the bat on the ball,” said Wheeling Park head coach Pat Durkin. “”[John Marshall’s] Outfield made a couple of very beautiful games and they kept the game near. But, we hit two circuits, our daughters did not exceed, the defense did a very good job – made some mistakes. Delaney Randolph launched a very well controlled match. I'm happy for them. We are heading to Morgantown tomorrow, it's a difficult team and we will see what we can do there. »»
John Marshall's left -hand player, Aubrey Lilly, has made several high -difficulty dishes in motion, including a shoe chain taking a full front sprint in the fourth round. Offensively, however, the monarchs have not been able to pierce despite the runners in a position to mark several different instances. MASYN INCLAN struck a double and Ella Finley fell in love with John Marshall.
Unable to afford another defeat in the double elimination format, John Marshall will have to chain victories together to maintain their season alive.
“I would like to see the fights more,” said John Marshall head coach Robby Blake. “I think we are always the young team that we were at the start of the season, and I hope we can answer and act like where I thought we could be at this stadium, 25 games in the season. [Park’s] Better than us, there are not two ways, but I don't think we gave them our best game. I hope we can bring it together on Wednesday and get a different result. »»
