David Beckham and Gary Neville Complete Salford City Consortium Takeover

Nine shareholders constitute the new consortium, including Dream Sports Group based in India, Colin Ryan, Frank Ryan, Nick Woodhouse and Shravin Mittal.
Their arrival comes after the club's property began the process of won new investments in 2024.
“The acquisition includes a commitment from new shareholders to invest considerably in the club, the team and its facilities,” said a Salford press release.
Beckham joined the 1992 class and the billionaire Peter Lim in the club investment in 2019, almost five years after the initial takeover.
Gary Neville bought the participation of the LIM co -owner in the club – which had previously been 50% – last summer in order to “pave the way for a new strategic partner”.
After the takeover on Thursday, Neville said that the new property group “would lead the club to sustainability over the next four to five years”.
In a joint declaration, Kelly and Lord Davies said: “We are impatient to associate ourselves with David, Gary, this new phenomenal ownership group, the 1992 class and everyone at the SCFC to bring this project to the next level.
“Hopefully [we can] Bring more success to the wonderful Salford City fans base, players and all those who are associated with the club. “”
