Prateik Smita Patil, the son at the end of the actress and veteran, Raj Babbar, was only 22 years old when he shot for his first film Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008). After finishing the shooting of the film, he was registered with Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. However, the acting institute founded by filmmaker Subhash Ghai threw him within two years of his participation in his drug addiction.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Prateik said that his dependence had brought a huge fall in his personal and professional career, leaving him deep regrets. He said, “I made very bad choices. I will not say that I could have done anything difference because I was going through something for a very young age. I made the choice to resume alcohol and drug addiction again. I gave in to my weakness. I had valid reasons, if I could. Things were much more complicated than personal life. ”
Prateik, who was raised by his maternal grandparents after the death of her mother during childbirth, regrets giving them difficult time. He said, “The grandparents have seen the worst of me in recent years. I was a drug addict that rages. My grandmother died when I saw me a drug addict. This is something I regret. I want her to see the man I have become today. ”
