Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing an event after working hours for small businesses

Montgomery, ala. (WSFA) – It is the national week of small businesses, and as always, the Chamber of Commerce of the Montgomery Region Supports our local businesses, this time by bringing together several of them on the network.

“Small businesses are at the heart of our community,” said Greg Godwin, vice-president of business in the Chamber of Commerce of the Montgomery Region. “Without small businesses, we do not have a chamber of commerce.

“It helps our community, it helps the entire river region, and we could not do it without small businesses.”

Small business week is to shop for local and keep our money here in the river region community, but the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce hopes that you are not only doing it during small businesses, but all year round.

“We want our local economy to be as healthy as possible,” said Alexandra Smith, responsible for loans to Independent mortgage of the fairwaysaid. “We want our schools to improve, want good restaurants, tourism and, in the end, if we do not pour in small businesses that make our community different, then we will not be able to have these good school systems, tourism, restaurants.”

Smith says that support for local businesses is a win-win.

“We are invested in the best possible experience and we make sure that the transaction is as fluid as possible.”
