Wyze's new bulb camera transforms any bulb intake into a security camera

If you do not want the hassles of configuring cords or batteries for an outdoor security camera, you are lucky: the new Wyze bulb cam is powered by your exterior lights.

The new camera is linked to a smart bulb that you can screw in any existing socket. These devices operate in tandem to provide brightness and surveillance capacities, and you can control them from the Wyze application.

The bulb cam offers a 160 -degree field of vision with 2K resolution, a wide dynamic range and color vision capacities of color. It is equipped with a two -way microphone and can record up to 256 GB of continuous local sequences. (Note however, a microSD card is not included with your purchase of the bulb cam. You can get a 256 GB card for less than $ 20.)

The co-founder of Wyze and CMO Dave Crosby explained that the bulb cam had been designed to help ensure the safety of outdoor areas where a socket is not easily available.

“The Wyze bulb camera facilitates the maintenance of these places with an affordable high quality camera and easy to install,” he said. “It's literally as simple as screwing a bulb.”

THE Wyze Bulb Cam sells $ 50 – all the accessory bulbs you need to buy will be a $ 17 additional. Up to five Wyze accessory bulbs can be connected to a single bulb cam system.
