United Airlines reveals new Dreamliner business class suites

Let's be honest: United Airlines has long been the punchline in the aviation world. The airline you reserve when you lack options, short of legs and perhaps short of self-esteem. But in a way, in 2025, United made a miracle. An upgrade in business class so good that it could ensure that the most faithful Qatar flyer calls into question their frequent leaflet status.

Search for a few years and the long-haul business class of United was an absolute disaster. The sadly famous disposition 2-2-2 meant clumsy visual contact with foreigners, no direct access to the aisle unless you were lucky, and the type of intimacy that you are waiting for during a suburban bus stop.

The new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners of United Go to its beginnings with entirely closed suite seats, finally bringing private life to the party. Each suite presents sliding doors and high walls for real loneliness, an OLED 4K screen of 27 ”with Bluetooth audio contributions, a wireless load, a USB-C and AC seat, there are even sweatshots, a perriconed pajamas and a card game in the friendship kit. Yes.

The Polaris studios, found at the front of each cabin, take further with 25% more space, an additional Ottoman seat for the companions and a level of comfort that you would not expect from an American airline. Or even united, moreover.

Sweet product: caviar, tapas and a 38,000 feet spritz

It is not only a material refreshment. United made the full experience. Think of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Champagne and Ossetra Caviar served in the Polaris studio. Tapas service half-voltage for insomniacs. Post-service snack boxes because why not? Aperol Spriz in the drinks menu. And Starlink Wifi so quickly that you can broadcast, scroll and email your friends in the middle of the Atlantic.

For an airline that couldn't get the right lasagna in the past, it is practically redemption.

The deployment and prices of the route

The first raised 787s will be launched on the roads of United from San Francisco in Singapore and London, with Australia firmly on the radar. A total of 30 of these new Dreamliners will fly by 2027.

But don't be too excited by the rest of the fleet. United does not intend to modernize the 777 and the 787 older people. These consequences are strictly for new toys.

As for the prices, the first leaks suggest that the Polaris studio will cost $ 300 to 650 USD more than standard polaris. If you are put back caviar in a hooded sweatshirt, it almost looks like a good deal.

United Airlines did the unthinkable. He created a business class product that is not only contributed. It crushes expectations. From misery 2-2-2 to private suites and excess superior quality, it is a brilliant in its own right.

Would I steal united now? Honestly, if I'm in a Polaris studio, absolutely. I could even wait for it.
