Ravens Liberates Justin Tucker – NBC Sports
The Botter Justin Tucker is no longer a member of the Ravens.
The director general of Ravens, Eric Decosta, announced the release of Tucker via a statement on Monday afternoon. This decision comes one day after the Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that the NFL survey on allegations of misconduct against Tucker was still underway and that all the decisions that the team has taken on Tucker remaining on the list would be football decisions related to the writing of Tyler Loop in the sixth round.
Decosta used the same language in his declaration.
“Sometimes, football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of these cases,” said Decosta. “Given our current list, we have made the decision difficult to publish Justin Tucker. Justin has created many important and unforgettable moments in the history of Ravens. His reliability, his concentration, his dynamism, his resilience and his extraordinary talents made him one of the best boots in the League for more than a decade. We are grateful for Justin's many contributions while playing for crows.
Tucker joined the Ravens in 2012 and was appointed a first All-Pro team six times in a race that leaves him with the percentage of goals on the highest field in NFL history. It was less effective in 2024 and the addition of these results to the current survey led to Monday's decision in Baltimore.
