The Cavs collapse as the Pacers reach a superb victory in match 2 on the 3 of Tyrese Haliburton with 1.1 seconds to the left
The Cleveland Cavaliers were about to link their second round series with the Indiana Pacers at 1-1 Tuesday evening. But the Pacers fell back to stun the horsemen for a 120-119 victory over a prayer by Tyrese Haliburton replied.
With the victory, the Pacers had a 2-0 series lead after two victories on the home of Cleveland.

Cleveland, seeded n ° 1 of the East Conference, opened an advance of 32-15 in the first quarter while playing without injured Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, and reserve of'Andre Hunter. He extended the advance at 20 points in the third quarter.

Cleveland was in control throughout
Until the last minutes of the match, there were a few moments on Tuesday evening when the Pacers seemed to have a chance. The riders put the pliers on the pacers of the opening tip in a dominant first quarter which limited the Indiana at 15 points.
The Pacers pulled 1 of 8 out of 3 in the first quarter and turned the ball nine times.
Meanwhile, Mitchell has repeatedly scored Will in the basket against a front pacers line from Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam who was helpless to stop him. Whenever Indiana threatened a rally, Mitchell was there to stop the race with a lay-up or a dunk.

He finished the match with nine assists and five rebounds in addition to his 48 points while pulling 15 out of 30 on the field and 17 out of 21 of the line. With 47.1 seconds to play, Siakam missed a pair of free throws. But Aaron Nesmith came by running the rear area for a reversing dunk on Mitchell who left Mitchell on the ground.
The Dunk reduced Cleveland's advance to 119-114.
Mitchell gathered after spending several moments on the ground in pain. He then returned the ball to the Pacers on the possession of Cleveland.
Nesmith trapped Mitchell along the key line after the Cleveland inbounds pass. Mitchell then shaved him on his face with his elbow in order to create space.
The elbow could have and should probably have drawn a blatant fault on Mitchell. Instead, it was considered just a personal fault, which was good enough to return the ball to the Pacers, which reduced the advance to 119-116 with a Layup Siakam.

Max Strus returned the ball on a bad inbound pass on the possession of the riders who followed, setting up Haliburton for his heroic at the end of the game. He added to a shocking collapse for the riders who could very well mark the end of their championship hopes.
Haliburton's fear of injuries
Haliburton played a large part of the match after having refined his wrist in the first half. He suffered after a collision in the second quarter. He left the field by tightening his wrist and did not get back into defense on the possession of riders who followed.
But Haliburton did not leave the match. He finished half and returned after half-time with a heavy band on his wrist.

The distribution of TNT reported that he had undergone radiographs at half-time, but the results were not known. Haliburton warmed the wrist in the third quarter and continued to play before securing the winning shot of the match.
Haliburton later said: “I'm fine.”
Will the injured Cavs return to Indiana?
Cavaliers have serious problems with their 0-2 deficit. Their prospects are still attenuated as long as Mobley, Garland and Hunter stay away. The status of each advance is not clear.
None of the three was only excluded just before Tipoff Tuesday evening. Garland missed his fourth consecutive match with a big, trampled toe that he suffered in the victory of Cleveland in the first round on Miami Heat.
