The competitor of “Love Island” Cashel Barnett is accused of having attacked his ex before their child and was detained without surety in a UTAh prison on Monday.
The District Prosecutor of the County of Salt Lake filed charges against the 34 -year -old man on May 12, in particular serious assaults, a criminal domestic violence in the presence of a child and two counts of crime.
A Barnett lawyer said his client had turned on Monday morning and is waiting for a deposit hearing scheduled for Thursday.

The woman told the police that she had “difficulty breathing, a hoarse voice, a cough, swallowed problems, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, agitation, amnesia, memory loss, visual changes and headache”, according to the police report.

The mandate request warns that the woman is at high risk of homicide and that she told the authorities that Barnett had already threatened to kill her, the report said.
