The brilliant War of Sean Duffy on Pete Buttigieg – Redstate

I do not think it is even questionable (or if it was, by the way) that Pete Buttigieg was one of the worst secretaries of the Transport Department that this country has ever seen.
My colleague from the Stated, Bob Hoge, for example, presented some of the receipts of the abyssal mandate of four years of Buttigieg, noting how “he spoke a lot of racist roads '', but could not be disturbed to visit the East Palestine, Ohio, for weeks after a disastrous chemical discharge; Billions but has produced a tiny amount of stations from the EV load, but it has burned billions but produced a tiny amount of stations;
But although they should (HEH), no one should believe us. It is enough to listen to the current secretary of the dowry, Sean Duffy, to remember almost daily the myriad of misdeeds and failures which occurred under the watch of Buttigieg.

The latest example occurred on Friday with the following announcement:
My first action as a transport secretary was to launch an examination of Biden-Buttigieg fuel economy standards which made the manufacture of cars made in America more difficult.
Today, @usdot is happy to publish the rule explaining what the last administration has violated the law.
It was a steps to force car manufacturers and consumers to accept electric vehicles. As a result, the cost of a new car has increased by 15% in just 4 years!

Duffy does not do so subtly something which, although not unique, is not something that we regularly see of current officials when they speak of previous administrations where the ruling party was their political opposition.
Although we sometimes see presidents references to previous presidents by name, often as a means of reminding people that things change for the best and that the type of alleged failure observed in previous terms would be a thing of the past, most often the term “my predecessor” or something in this direction is used (although Donald Trump is obviously an exception to this rule).
This is also true for civil servants of an administration, where you do not often hear them use the names of department heads who were there before them in another administration, beyond the terms like “predecessor” and “the pride defense secretary”, etc.
But buttigieg is running as a candidate for the presidency in 2028, rumors that he did not buffer while he apparently seeks to raise his national profile in part by pushing a beard and trying a central change.
It is perhaps with this thought in mind that Duffy never fails to remind people that the failures of the administration of Biden-Harris on the transport front, which led to problems that Duffy had to strike the ground according to the candidacy to face after its confirmation, were also the failures of Buttigieg, considering that he had led the department.
It is an annoying fact buttigieg who wants to erase by blaming the Trump administration. But Sean Duffy does not leave him. This response, for example, to buttigieg criticisms on FAA's “layoffs” was a classic example:
Mayor Pete failed for four years to cope with the shortage of air traffic controller and improve our obsolete obsolete air traffic control system.
[…]Mayor Pete has chosen to use this incredible department – which is so essential to the success of America – like melted snow for the new green scam and the nonsense of environmental justice. Without forgetting that more than 90% of the workforce under his direction worked at home – including him. The building was empty!
When we finally get full accounting of his mismanagement, I can't wait to hear him.
It was another:
Biden and Buttigieg spent more time changing the name of the steering wheel cockpit than repairing our air traffic control infrastructure.
No more. @Potus And I'm going to fix it. pic.twitter.com/c0yrxxuxx3

It's simple but shiny. When “Le Maire Pete” continues to try to throw the slopes for a possible 2028 race, Duffy derails it with each turn. If he runs and it happens for him as well as during his candidacy in 2020, we may have partially thank for that.
