MARSHALL – The defensive difficulties decided on Marshall Softball Team Non Conference on Monday against Willmar on Monday. The errors of the tigers gave the cardinals 13 unanswered points while Marshall fell 14-3 to stay without victory over the season.
The three Marshall races scored below the fourth, dragging 14-0. Sara Dallman struck a simple head and scored when Alissa Moen reached an error. A pair of walks to Claire Kruse and Jaela Morgan loaded the basics of two withdrawals, and a walk from Justine Kirst and a single by Bailynn Parsons pushed another pair of races to reduce the deficit to 11.
“They definitely have this desire to bring it together, sometimes it happens too late in the match,” said Marshall head coach Stacey Baedke. “We know we can do it. We just have to reduce these mistakes. ”
The two teams were locked up in an aimless equality for the first two rounds, but the cardinals capitalized on five Marshall errors during the third to score five points. Marshall ended the match with 13 errors while Willmar hired three.
Moen launched the first 3 1/3 rounds for tigers, abandoning four strokes and a pair of walks while removing five strikers. Of the 10 points she authorized, nine have been not deserved. Dallman also launched 1,2/3 relief rounds, abandoning four not deserved points on four strokes with a pair of stick withdrawals.

Grace Kalkbrenner launched the first 3 2/3 rounds for Willmar, abandoning three points not deserved on four strokes and three goals on balls with three stick withdrawals.
Willmar almost scored at the top of the fifth, but Startons aligned a blow, threw him with Morgan at the start for a withdrawal, then recovered the ball and applied the label to the plate for a double game game.
Four other Marshall errors in the fourth led to nine additional Willmar runners to put the game out of reach.
With his back against the wall at the bottom of the fifth, Marshall loaded the bases with an outing when Moen reached an error, Kirchner was struck by a field and Taylor Frana a walked. However, a pair of stick withdraws has left the base loaded without a marked race.
Claire Guennigsman launched 1 1/3 goalless relief rounds for Willmar, withdrawing four strikers by walking one and holding Marshall without success.
Norah Nesges led Willmar's strikers with a double, a simple and a pair of produced points while Hannah Magnuson also cut a pair of simple.
Marshall falls at 0-12 on the season and host the next St. Peter (6-7) today at 5.30 p.m.

Waseca – The Softball Marshall team gathered quality bats in the second match of its Big South Doubleper against Waseca on Saturday, but fell from its first victory. The Tigers lost the first 2-0 match and their rally of eighth round fell shy with a defeat of 9-8 surnes in the second.
Sara Dallman led Marshall offensively with a pair of doubles during the day, while Brynlee Dieken recorded a double and a simple and Bailynn Parsons and Haylee Kirschner each brought a pair of singles.
Alissa Moen kept Marshall in the first match with six heats in the circle without allowing a deserved race in defeat. She also granted a deserved race in five rounds to start the second, while Dallman launched three other heats without allowing a deserved race. However, 12 Marshall errors resulted in eight points not won in the second game and another error explained the two points of Waseca in the first.

Marshall held Waseca aimlessly for the first five rounds of the double head opener. In the sixth, however, the Bluejays obtained consecutive singles with a withdrawal. An error to launch allowed the two runners to move forward in a score position, and a simple RBI and a sacrificial fly gave the Bluejays an advance of 2-0.
Dallman and Dieken chose in a consecutive way to start the summit of the seventh, but a consecutive exit and withdrawals left the runs stuck in the second and third.
Moen withdrew 10 strikers during his six heats in the circle, granting five strokes and a walk.
Parsons recorded a pair of simple in the game while Dallman added a pair of doubles. Marshall did not walk in the match.

Waseca 9, Marshall 8
Marshall dragged 7-6 before the seventh round. Kirchner was struck by a field to start the frame, advanced second in a Jennifer Lee Bunt and stole the third to put himself in the score position with two withdrawals. Parsons then offered a single clutch single to mark Kirchner and force additional sleeves.
At the top of the seventh, Waseca made a walk and put runners in the corners on a Marshall error. An intentional walk loaded the basics with two withdrawals, and another Marshall error gave the Bluejays an advance of 9-7 before an exit ends the English Channel.
With a last chance to extend the game, Dieken chose and scored on a single Aubrey Schaefer. However, a removal in the stick and a field ended the match with the liaison race blocked first.
Moen withdrew six strikers in the first five rounds of the match, abandoning four strokes and three steps. Of the seven points she granted, six were not won.
In relief, Dallman limited the Bluejays to a safe blow and two steps with a pair of stick withdrawals. However, Marshall's errors have led to a pair of unprecedented races against her.
Marshall took his only lead in the match at the end of the second. Justine Kirst walked, Kirchner in simple and Naya Grahn attracted another walk to load the bases with two withdrawals. Starts then reached the base on an error to drive in a pair of races for a 2-0 tiger thread. However, five Marshall errors during the next half-manche gave Waseca six runs to Waseca.
