Tesla strongly restores Cybertruck discounts the same day, Elon Musk attacks Trump

Tesla d'Elon Musk has announced its greatest discount to date on the Cybertruck Electric Pickup van, on which it now offers a percentage of funding. The announcement was timed by coincidence for the same day that Elon Musk betrayed President Donald Trump.
Shake reports The fact that Tesla Cybertruck by Elon Musk was strongly expected by the automotive market, but has reached a major obstacle in sales, the company now resorting to unprecedented discounts to stimulate demand. The electric vehicle giant has announced that it was offering uninteresting loans to Cybertruck until the end of June, effectively reducing prices by around $ 10,000 in order to identify the invend inventory.
Thursday's announcement is particularly striking because of its calendar – the offer came the same day that Elon Musk was published publicly to President Donald Trump, saying that he won Trump the elections and even saying that he is a pedophile, that Musk's cat Grok disputed. In particular, Cybertruck is the only Tesla EV to find a market with the Conservatives because it was considered a symbol of status by young influencers. For example, the Streamer Adin Ross offered Trump a cybertruck in August 2024.
The Cybertruck initially collected more than a million reserves. However, the production version was launched in 2023 to almost double the promised price and with reduced scope specifications, causing the fall in demand. Tesla had ambitiously planned an annual production capacity of 250,000 to 500,000 cybertrucks in its Texas Gigafactory, but ended up selling only 40,000 units during the first year. Sales further decreased in 2025, stocks accumulating. The data indicates that the company sells approximately 25,000 cybertrucks per year, well below its estimates.
To approach the crisis, Tesla began to slow down production earlier this year and to offer stronger discounts on its vehicles. The latest zero percent financing offer applies to cybertrucks ordered with the full $ 8,000 (FSD) package. This decision follows the reports according to which Tesla has largely abandoned plans to deliver its automatic functionality on the cybertruck, pushing customers to the more expensive FSD option.
While Tesla’s fortune is increasingly depends on the success of its complete autonomous program, the progress made by competitors in the development of robotaximous technology threatens to erode any remaining advantage. The failure of the cybertruck to gain from the field on the market, coupled with an underused production capacity in its factories, paints a dark image for the former pioneer of the evaluation.
