Tearful Rudy Giuliani comes across the death of Bernie Kerik

Former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani melted in tears Remember the ex-commissioner of NYPD, Bernie Kerik, who died Thursday at 69 years old.

“I was a better man for having known Bernie,” said Giuliani on his podcast “America's Mayor Live” shortly after the announcement of Kerik's death. “I don't know what I'm going to do without him.”

Earlier this month, Kerik was hospitalized with a serious illness he was to recover. Giuliani said he had planned to visit his former boyfriend on Saturday and that it regrets it not to do it earlier.

“I have the impression that I should have been with him,” the native smothered in Brooklyn told listeners.

Giuliani recalled the moments he spent with Kerik, which included the fight against crime in New York, advancing the city after the September 11 terrorist attacks and supporting President Trump's efforts to overthrow the 2020 election results.

The former mayor also congratulated his longtime friend for his “honesty and integrity”, saying that Kerik had been targeted by “Lawfare” when he served three years in prison for tax fraud.

Giuliani has become more and more emotional recalling Kerik's service to the police in the United States and Abroad during the war in Iraqas well as their work together the private sector.

“I went through difficult times, and I discovered who my friends were,” he said. “Bernie was there for everything.”

The works of water started when Giuliani said again that he wanted to be at the bedside of Kerik when he died.

“I would like to be there for you Bernie, you were still there for me,” he sobbing before saying a prayer for Kerik.
