A fired company zebra was found with its owner after an eight -day search in a county of Tennessee.
The Rutherford County Sheriff Office announced Sunday in an article on Facebook that “Celebrity Zebra Ed” had been “saved safely”.
“The Sheriff's Bureau of Rutherford County is happy to report the Tango 82 aviation teams Located Zebra Ed and returned it to its owner on Sunday,” managed officials wrote.
The fleeing zebra was found near the Interstate 24 “in a pasture near the Buchanan Estates subdivision,” said the sheriff's office.

“Zebra Ed” originally arrived in Christiana on May 30, according to officials, and it was missing one day later by its owner.

The deputies declared that he had escaped in a wooded area off the Interstate 24, where he had been spotted by passers -by “wreaking havoc”, between Joe B. Jackson Parkway and the EPPS Mill Road comes out.
MP Ryan Keach located the zebra near the highway and closed a traffic for travelers safety on May 31, the Sheriff Office at Fox News Digital said.

“Zebra Ed” was not spotted for several days after the observation of May 31, officials said.
Before Sunday's rescue operation, Ed was spotted on Friday June 6, in land near Ridgewood Drive in Christiana. The sheriff's office announced that the deputies saw it through a drone camera and worked with a veterinarian to save the animal safely.
