A woman in Auburn Gresham tries to change this in her community.

Tati flowers appeared on the 79th and loomis. This is where the owner Tati Williams hopes to open a permanent shop later this year.

“The pop-up overall is just an excellent addition and it adds life to the community because they are flowers,” said Kennedi Love.

The pop-up arrives on the right for the week of appreciation of the teachers, the nursing week and the Mother's Day.

“We have all the floral arrangements for any budget,” said Williams.

The Renee Satchell clientele has lived in the neighborhood for 30 years. She said that she had never seen a florist in Auburn Gresham.

David Moore in the seventeenth district said that it was important to have a cultivated shop.

Williams said she started buying flowers for her during the pandemic, then launched her home business.

But Williams said she wanted to bring a joyful business to the 79th street which had been a dynamic commercial corridor years ago.

“When I saw so many vacant posts and abandoned buildings, I am like” we have to bring it back here on this corridor which has so much potential, “said Williams.

She plans to have coffee and offer a workspace to other entrepreneurs.

“If you do not support small businesses in your community, we will have to leave and we don't want us to stay here,” said Williams.

She hopes to open the Flowers of Tati on the 79th permanently later this year.

For the moment, You can order online Or keep an eye to future pop-ups.
