Dilbert Creator Scott Adams announced on Monday that he had metastatic prostate cancer and only months to live.
The controversial cartoonist said on a Livestream Youtube This recent diagnosis of former president Joe Biden – an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones – prompted him to share his.
“I have the same cancer as Joe Biden. I also have prostate cancer which has also spread to my bones, but I had it longer than it did – much longer than it admitted,” said Adams. “I expect to check this area this summer.”

The diagnosis of Biden, announced on Sunday, initially met a bipartite wave of sympathy and well-being. But on Monday, President Trump and his allies began to push the story, without evidence, that Biden had intentionally retained his diagnosis.
Adams – Who has long been a supporter of Trump Vocal – did not name names but said it was difficult to look at the lack of sympathy of certain peoples for Biden, “especially because the public all decided to become prostate experts.”
“I would like to extend my respect and compassion for the ex-president and his family because they are going through a particularly difficult period,” added Adams. “It's a terrible disease.”
Adams called his “intolerable” state, saying that he has been using a walker for months and is “always pain” who moves towards different parts of his body. He said his morning program, Real coffee with Scott Adamsis the only thing he does during the day, and he plans to pursue him as long as possible.

“If you are wondering if I will improve, the answer is no, it will only get worse,” he said. “There is only one direction that it goes now.”
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the United States after skin cancer and the second cause of death in cancer in American men. Although it can often be successfully treated and has a global survival rate over five years of 97%, this number is much lower in cases where cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
Adams did not enter into detail on his treatments, by saying that anti-parasitic drugs, the ivermectin and the Fénbendazole did not work for him. There is No evidence in support of complaints That the ivermectin – which was falsely presented as a treatment for COVID -19 – can treat cancer. As a resident of California, he referred to the option of the end of life of the state as “an option”. Adams previously argued for the adoption of the law, which allows doctors to prescribe a drug assistance drug for certain terminal patients.
It is not clear when Adams, 67, was initially diagnosed with cancer. He said he had avoided sharing the news because “once you have become public, you are just the guy in dying cancer.” He said he was also waiting for the marriage of his daughter-in-law, who has since produced and saw the diagnosis of Biden as an opportunity to manifest.
“When Joe Biden is made public with his situation, I said to myself:” You know what, I will slide under his history, and he will attract a large part of the attention “because, you know, the former president,” he said. “If you think of prostate cancer, you will think of him as much as me, so it just takes energy.”

Adams became famous in the 1990s with her unionized comic strip Dilbert, An awarded satire of corporate culture featuring his eponymous white collar engineer. It appeared in some 2,000 newspapers in 65 countries before Adams' controversial comments on the breed cause its widespread cancellation in 2023.
Over the years, Adams has written several novels and non-fiction books unrelated to Dilbert And weighs on social and political events on its longtime YouTube program, which has some 174,000 subscribers.
He opened one of these rivers in February 2023 by speaking of a public opinion poll asking readers if they agree with “it's ok to be white”, which is considered to be a Alt-Right slogan. In his response, he described the blacks as “hate group”, a declaration He called later “A hyperbole” but continued to defend itself.
Caricaturists across the country have applauded publishers and publishers for having held responsible Adams, pointing out of the problematic comments that he had made in the past.

He interviewed previously The number of holocaust deaths, said he had Lost several jobs To be white and wrongly That people who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 “are clearly the winners” of the pandemic (he admitted to having been vaccinated in the video on Monday). Dozens of newspapers dropped the band In 2022, after Adams, Adams introduced his first black character and turned into anti-Swoke intrigues.
On Monday, quoting the reaction to the diagnosis of Biden, Adams said that he was preparing for an equally mixed response and hoped to “reduce the time that people were terrible for me online”.
“My enemies – in other words, people who are democrats, most of them – will come after me quite strong, so I have to endure this,” he said. “But I'm ready for that.”
Adams said that his prognosis, although painful, gives him time to put his business in order and say his farewell.
“I just dealt with it, so it's sort of what it is,” he said. “Everyone must die as far as I know.”
