“Reasonable”, “prudent” for Trump's administrator. To request the list of foreign students, even most of the vouchers are good
On Wednesday, the broadcast of “Fox & Friends First” of Fox News Channel, the professor of bio-engineering and physics applied Parker, said that it was preferable that the Trump administration and the administration of Harvard meet and try to resolve the conflict between the two and the request of the Trump administration for a list of foreign students is “perfectly reasonable, it is right, and I think it's prudent”.

Parker replied: “I certainly hope that yes. And I have encouraged this on our campus for months now. If President Trump will meet Putin or meet Kim, he will certainly meet President Garber. You should always speak to your enemies so that you can avoid a conflict that will injure both sides. Admittedly, this conflict will injure both sides. [are] the Chinese Communist Party, which [have] I must laugh at the way our higher education institutions are dismantled in recent years and this current battle with the government. »»
Later, Shimkus asked: “[O]The request of President Trump, Kit, is for Harvard to provide a list of his foreign students so that they can be checked. I think we know the personality of President Trump to find out that it will probably disturb foreign demonstrators to protest against Harvard and learn that 27% of his registrants come from other countries. So, do you think it is a request on which Harvard will work with the president and provide this list? I think it could greatly contribute to returning to normality here. »»
Parker replied: “I think it is a reasonable request from the president. I think it is a reasonable request from the State Department to follow these students who have received visas to come here in the United States for the most part, they study hard, they came to these democracy beacons called American universities, they work very hard for us and our institutions want to stay here. It is a privilege to come here for us and our institutions. Education are power projection platforms and in a knowledge economy, they are very important for the interest of the nation. The same way as Italian port cities were and that we are all aligned in the future.
