What's new with the Nintendo Switch 2?
The Nintendo Switch 2 is a larger and more powerful console than its predecessor, which was published in 2017. It has a huge 7.9 -inch 120Hz 1080p LCD screen (larger than the 7 -inch screen on the OLED Switch).
But the screen is not the only thing that has obtained an upgrade. The Joy-Cons are now attached magnetically to the console, and like the original switch, the GamePad can be inserted in a reception station to project your gameplay on a TV or a monitor.

Select Original Switch Games will get upgrades to match Switch 2 performance, and most Nintendo Switch games (including those of cartridges) will be compatible with the new console.
