The Indiana Pacers were not going to let it escape.
The Pacers, after almost blowing a two-digit half-time advance, held on Rocket Arena late on Sunday to win a 121-112 victory against Cleveland riders. This gave Indiana an advance of 1-0 in its semi-final series of the Eastern Conference and took the advantage of the short of the seeded field. Match 2 of the series is scheduled for Tuesday evening in Cleveland. If the riders cannot bounce back right away, they could watch another outing in the first season after what was their best season for more than a decade.
