The Pacers, after taking a six-point lead at halftime, jumped at the start of the third and seemed briefly that they were going to run away with the match after mounting a 12-point advantage. Donovan Mitchell, however, reacted perfectly. Mitchell helped trigger a point of 17-4 and dropped 12 points in the third quarter to reduce the two-point deficit at the end of the period. The Cavs would have held up on the fourth quarter, but Myles Turner struck a 3 -point pointer to the buzzer.
