Paige Bueckers de Dallas Wings wins the prestigious Sports Sports Sports Prize

Paige Bueckers could prepare for its recruit season with Dallas Wings, but its last college season still receives flowers.
Bueckers was appointed winner of the Honda Sport Award of Collegiate Women Sports Awards for basketball. The prize has been awarded to the best female athletes in 12 NCAA sports for 49 years, marking “the best of the best in college athletics”, according to The CWSA website.
Bueckers, twice a Honda Award, won the prize after leading the Uconn Huskies to their 12th national championship. She was a finalist of the Naismith Award and appointed to the team of all NCAA tournaments in 2025.
Bueckers now becomes a finalist of the collegiate athlete of the year which will be presented on June 30. The former Iowa Caitlin Clark star won the Honda Award for basketball and general honor in the past two years.
