Launched in 2017, Cryptopunks is a collection of renowned non -drinkable tokens of The Digital Asset Incubation Studio Larabs, with a limited edition of 10,000 NFTS Pixilées hosted on the network of Ethereum Blockchain. The Cryptopunks NFT collection has become one of the main NFT collections on the NFT market, holding a market capitalization of nearly a billion dollars. Several rare punks from the cryptopunks collection are worth millions of dollars.

In March 2022, Yuga Labs, the creator of the NFT Club NFT Ape Yacht NFT collection, acquired the intellectual property of the Cryptopunks NFT collection. During the auction, the annoyed monkey creator bought the NFT Meebits collection with the NFT Cryptopunks collection. Meebits is a collection of non -fungible tokens with a limited edition of 20,000 characters from 3D vowel hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network.

Yuga Labs also houses some of the main NFT collections, including the Mutant Ape Yacht Club, a collection of non -bubilizable tokens with a limited offer of 20,000 NFT hosted on the Ethereum Blockchain network, others, Kodamara, Bored Ape Kennel Club and twelvefalls. The creator of annoyed monkey yacht, Yuga Labs, also holds intellectual property (IP) for bizarre, grails and NFT NFT collections.

What's wrong?

Crypto users considered the controversial bid cryptopunks as an “accident” or an “error”, some saying that it may have intended to sell it for 42 weth, which is an average price for the entire Cryptopunks NFT collection. Another NFT user described this controversial offer as a tax loss harvest. In the meantime, the anonymous merchant seems to have retracted this punk offer.
