About Hema Malini
Hema Malini is an actress, dancer, filmmaker, politician and one of the most popular figures in Indian popular culture. Born October 16, 1948 in Tamil Nadu, she trained from a young age in the form of a classical dance of Bharatanatyam. His artistic talent and his presence on the screen quickly led him to become one of the best women in Bollywood in the 1970s and 80s.
During her five decades cinematographic career, she played in more than 150 films, including timeless hits like Shore,, Seeta Aur Geeta,, Dream girl,, Satte Pe SattaAnd Baghban. His name has become synonymous with grace, strength and elegance, winning him the affectionate nickname “Dream Girl”.
Beyond cinema, she is a respected classical dancer who has turned around the world, choreographer and filmmaker. In 2003, she entered politics and in 2014, she was elected to Lok Sabha as a deputy representing Mathura. His political work emphasizes rural development, the well-being of women and the promotion of Indian culture.
His contributions have earned her many distinctions, including Padma Shri in India, one of the country's highest civil honors.
