Roderick Charles Sutton – Duluth News Tribune

Roderick Charles Sutton, 67, from Duluth, was called to the house after a courageous battle against cancer, Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Rod was born in Duluth, MN, June 5, 1957, from Rosemary and Robert Sutton. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1976. After graduating, he was married for the fleet of the Great Lakes. Aside from various jobs, his number one and the most appreciated work was to be a father of his two children, Cory and Bunny.

Rod liked to play cards, play and collect sports cards. Despite his physical limits, he also liked to play football with his friends and work on cars.

Rod will miss Rod very much and is always loved by many. He was the most altruistic man you could know. He was kind and authentic. Her smile and her wink will be terribly missed.

Rod is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ronald and Raymond, and his sister Rachel.

Rod is survived by his two children Cory and Bunny, grandchildren Jonathon, Cory Junior and Ellie, great-grandson Sage, Sisters Becky, Debbie and Karen, many nieces and nephews, special friends, and Cat Bella belove. A celebration of life will take place in the near future.
