LeBron James seemed to be in peace by losing against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA qualifiers after having shocked five games.
After their successful acquisition of Luka Dončić in February, the Lakers entered the playoffs with high expectations. Unfortunately, their title hopes crashed in the first round after meeting Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves.

An MRI of May 1 revealed that the quadruple NBA champion had suffered a sprain from the medial collateral ligament of grade 2 in his left knee during the fourth quarter of match 5 while they were hanging out, 84-82.
