New Delhi, May 5 (Socialnews.xyz) The dancer-actress Lauren Gottlieb said that Bollywood is dynamic and fueled by natural talents and a passion for dance, while Hollywood is very professional. She finds the British dance scene a “grainy mixture” of the two, offering her own raw and powerful energy.
Asked about the main differences she experienced in the Bollywood and Hollywood dance and cinema industries, Lauren told Ians: “I had the chance to work through Hollywood, Bollywood and also in London. In India, there are so many raw and natural talents and songs and dance are a central part of culture. ”
“The second I spot in Mumbai, I can literally feel the energy – like the whole city works on Bollywood (and cricket).”
The industry is so alive and buzzing, with endless events, filming and creativity that occur all the time. It's colorful, vibrant and my favorite, “said Lauren, who played with known world artists such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Shakira and Enrique Iglesias to name just a few.
Speaking of Hollywood, where she worked with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Tobey Maguire, Lauren said: “Hollywood, on the other hand, is much more structured. If something starts at 9 am, it starts at 9 am!”
“There are clear hours, rules and systems in place, and training is taken incredibly seriously. It is a very polite environment, and this structure can be really beneficial. ”
For her, the United Kingdom looks like a mixture of the two.
“The dancers are grainy and anchored – they have this really raw and powerful style that I like. It was so cool to see how each region brings its own rhythm and energy, and I learned something unique of all.”
“Each industry has its own flavor, and I feel really lucky to have crossed the three,” said the actress-dancer, who entered Bollywood with the film ABCD 2013: any body can dance by Remo d'ouza.
