Lake City business leaders end the week 2025 Economic Development Week with ribbon cup at the North Florida Mega Industrial Park
Gainesville, Florida (WCJB) – Business leaders and representatives of the Government of Lake City and the County of Columbia reached the end of their celebration of the economic development of a week.
County officials organized a ribbon cup ceremony at North Florida Mega Industrial Park And said it would bring hundreds of jobs in the region.
Officials said the wastewater treatment plant is important for residential expansion in the eastern part of Lake City.
They said that the location of the industrial park, near the I-75 and the I-10, made it an ideal place to attract companies.
County officials said they were in talks with suppliers of building materials, manufacturing companies and rare land mineral producers.
Friday organized the final event of the economic development week with a lunch at the Hôtel Blanche at noon.
They gathered to think about a week of achievements and watch the next step for the county.
