Lady Gaga is organizing a record concert of Copacabana beach

Lady Gaga played the biggest show in her career on Saturday evening, playing around 2.5 million fans at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro.
The show, nicknamed Mayhem on the beach, broke the record for the most frequented concert of a female artist, according to the organizers of the show. Madonna had previously held the title for a show she presented to Copacabana Beach last year. The two events were free.
Gaga brought her buzzing performance in five acts, which she did her debut during her set of the headliner in Coachella last month. Brazil police announced on Sunday that two people were arrested as part of a plot to explode a bomb during the concert. A spokesperson for Gaga shared the following statement with THR: “We learned this alleged threat via media reports this morning. Before and during the show, there was no known security problem, nor any communication from the police or authorities in Lady Gaga concerning potential risks.
