Polygon to support the Pecctra d'Ethereum update: Details – Cryptomod

The polygon moves quickly to stay ahead of the next change in major infrastructure. This week, Ethereum Layer 2 officially deployed the support for EIP-7702 via its CDK Aggayer battery, becoming one of the first ecosystems to adopt features of the next level of Ethereum. This marks an important turning point for the UX portfolio and chain payments through Ethereum battery.
The EIP-7702 allows accounts belonging to the outside (EOAS) to behave temporarily as intelligent contracts, unlocking advanced features such as grouped transactions, third-party gas payments and personalized recovery flows.
The implementation of Polygon means that the rolls built using Aggayer and the OP battery can now draw on these capacities before the deployment of Mainnet d'Ethereum. More and more Rollup batteries should follow in the coming weeks.
For users, this change means one thing: smarter wallets with less friction. Think of simplified integration, gas -free interactions and real active asset payments powered by flawless UX. This is a serious step towards the abstract of the more clumsy edges of crypto, especially as demand increases for web3 applications that look like web2.
Ethereum has momentum as the intelligent portfolio story grows
The wider Ethereum ecosystem continues to support this momentum. While ETH cooled at $ 2,527 after a strong monthly race, its structural position remains solid.
The network experienced more than $ 180 million in exchange outings last week, and active addresses increased above 560k. Blackrock's recent S-1 amendment to support takeover in kind for his ETH trust, plus a plan to integrate the implementation, adds fuel to the institutional fire.
Pectra upgrade – established to provide EIP -7702 and other major improvements such as validator scaling and expansion of the Blob – already defines the next Ethereum cycle. But it is the early execution of Polygon which points out where it is heading: a world of customizable wallets, gas efficient and centered on the application feeding a new wave of use on the chain.
As EIP-7702 spreads via L2S and intelligent maturity account standards, the competitive edge of Ethereum can go from the base layer to user experience.
Polygon's advance in the deployment of Pectra functionality makes it a main player in this transition, which can ultimately reshape the way users completely interact with cryptography.
