Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States will hold its Indo-Pacific allies when it faces China growing military and economic pressures. He called on Asian countries to stimulate their own military spending, however, saying that the Chinese army is “repeating for the real case” with regard to its declared objective of taking control of Taiwan.
