Fort Dodge's women's football team honored its seniors on Friday evening, and the Dodgers played equally with 3-3 with the county of East bag in front of a home house.

The Dodgers (1-7-1 in total) had an advance of 3-1 in the second period before the Raiders (3-7-3) were marked twice and finally forced the draw.

“We arrived behind 1-0, but this team does not lose their fight,” said FDSH head coach G Myers. “By taking these girls, I saw them abandon and continue.

East Sac County first took the Board of Directors, but the Dodgers equaled the competition on the first career objective of Freshman Laila Grantham.

The Dodgers went at halftime with an advantage of 2-1 on a goal of the student in the second year Addie Lentsch, which would give the Dodgers an advantage of 3-1 with his second goal of the evening.

“For Addie, this season has been so much work,” said Myers. “Coming from her operation (during the baskebtall season) was mentally difficult, just so that she could pass through that while having the goal of not missing games.

“She adjusted her game, worked on her leg game and uses her teammates better.”

East County bag nailed two goals in the second half of Chloé Bieret.

The Dodgers honored five seniors: Ava Sells, Jase Madison, Tessa Carlson, Paige Lloyd, Kenia Suriano Zepeda and Sad Holst.

“They are a great group. I will certainly miss their leadership,” said Myers. “Ava is registered and continues everything and organized. Paige, Ava, Jase, Kenia and Tessa are four years old beginners and were great for us. Sad tried to do both the track and football, then returned to football and it was great to have it.

“This group gives the example.”

Souls and Lloyd are defenders, while Madison, Suranio Zepeda, Carlson and Holst played the offense for the Dodgers.

Fort Dodge is back in action on Monday at Lincoln monks. The university kick -off is defined for 7 p.m.
