Injunction issued in the Wi trial on the financing of the library and businesses | News

Madison (WKOW) – The attorney general of Wisconsin Josh Kaul (D -WI) announced that a preliminary injunction had been issued against the Trump administration plan to dismantle three federal agencies.

The targeted agencies include the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Development Agency for Minority Business and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.

The dismantling of these agencies threatened vital programs for Wisconsin, according to a press release from the Ministry of Justice of Wisconsin (DOJ). As an example, the DoJ said that the University of Wisconsin System’s University Affairs and Entrepreneurship Office faced potential training and services cancellations due to layoffs.

According to the doj, the chief judge of the American district court John McConnell, Jr. supported the injunction, declaring that it was “appropriate and necessary”.

“This decision is still another decision concluding that the Trump administration probably violates the law,” Kaul said.

The Kaul trial is supported by the general prosecutors of 20 other states, including California, New York and Illinois.
