Effects of prices on the main retailers and consumption marks

The prices are there and affect some of the biggest public brands.

For some companies, prices have a clear, but difficult problem: the goods made in other countries, especially China, are now more expensive to bring to the United States. For brands and retailers to protect their beneficiary margins, this will mean the price hike that buyers pay.

Other brands import much less in the United States, but see that people in other countries turn away from their property because of their link with America.

Here are some of the ways whose prices affect some of the largest consumption brands and retailers, as identified in the last cycle of income reports.

Adidas

Adidas, based in Germany, warned Tuesday that the prices of almost all of its products will increase in the United States under current prices.

The reason? Adidas “can currently produce almost none of our products in the United States,” said CEO Bjørn Gulden.

“If the tasks remain, of course, there will be price increases on the American market,” said Gulden when the sneaker's manufacturer's profit.

Amazon

Amazon declared Thursday in the benefits that he was “manic” focused on pricing, even with the prices in place. CEO Andy Jassy highlighted the selection of Amazon's wide products as an advantage for consumers who seek to save money or hunt a particular product as the supply chains are in a hurry.

The effects of Coca-Cola prices are “manageable,” CEO James Quincey said on Tuesday during a call for results.
