Mumtaz spoke of returning to big screens after a long hiatus, shared the kind of roles she didn't want to do.

Speaking of the type of roles she would consider for her return, Mumtaz said: “The main role of Filmon Mein Buddhi Ka toh Karne Vaali Nahi Hoon. Aur Jaisi Main Lagti Hun Vo Role Offer Hua Nahi. Kisi ki maa ka karne waali nahi hun.

About Mumtaz
Mumtaz started his acting journey at the age of 11 with films like Lajwanti (1958), Sone Ki Chidiya (1958), and had small roles in Stone (1961) and Sehra (1963). She was initially typical as a “cascade film heroine”, who blocked her start of career. However, after the success of Ram Aur Shyam (1967), the simple Hamdam Mere Dost (1968) and Brahmachari (1968), she produced her breakthrough in 1969 with Do Raast.
She quickly established herself as a Bollywood head woman. However, in 1976, after the Nagin of Rajkumar Kohli, Mumtaz took sabbatical leave and returned to the screen in 1990 with Aandhiyan. The actor withdrew from the films and settled in London with her husband, the Ugandan businessman Mayur Madhvani.
