Citing a law rarely used, President Trump has circumvented the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, and ordered two thousand troops of the National Guard in Los Angeles for sixty days.
It is the first time that in 60 years, a president has used federal power to deploy troops of the National Guard without the agreement of the Governor of the State.
