Bybit secures the LAWS License in Austria, opens the European headquarters in Vienna with a strategic expansion plan – Cryptomod
Vienna, May 29, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Go throughThe second largest exchange of cryptocurrency in the world in volume of negotiation, received its markets in the regulatory license for crypto-sets (micar) of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA)meaning a central moment in its European expansion. With this new license, Bybit can now operate as a fully compliant Crypto-Asset service provider and regulated cryptography products and services located nearly 500 million Europeans in 29 EEA member states (European Economic Zone) through its EEE HUB, based in Austria. In addition to this regulatory stage, Bybit has also established its official headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
The Micar license underlines Bebit’s unshakable commitment to comply with the highest regulatory standards in Europe, including crucial guarantees designed to improve transparency, prevent illicit activities and protect consumers within the European Union digital finance ecosystem.
