Our editorial room occasionally reports stories under a signature of “staff”. Often, the signature of the “staff” is used during the rewriting of basic information which comes from official sources, such as a press release from the city on a closure of the road, and which require little or no report. Sometimes this signature is used when a news includes many authors or when history is formed by aggregating the news previously reported from various sources. If external sources are used, it is noted in history.

Hi, I'm the Brainerd dispatch. I started working a few days before Christmas in 1881 and I became a daily newspaper two years later. I have undergone a lot of changes over the years, but what has never changed is my commitment to the community and local journalism. I have an entire team of dedicated people who work night and day to make sure to go out every morning, whether on paper, as an edition, via an application or with additional information on www.brainerddispatch.com. News, time, sports – videos, photos, podcasts and social media – all covering stories from the center of Minnesota on your neighbors, your lakes, your communities, your challenges and your opportunities. All this is part of the effort to keep people connected and informed. And we couldn't do it without support.
