Bitcoin scam -based on Facebook targets Zimbabwe residents with trading program

Zimbabwe residents have lost funds for the benefit of a fraudulent trading platform that announces investment opportunities in crypto on Facebook. According to reports, the investment platform rushed as an Innbucks investment, attracting innocent to deposit their funds using Ecocash, which is transferred to the false trading platform.
According to local reports, the platform promises Zimbabwe residents the possibility of making Bitcoin Trading benefits, agreeing to exchange the assets on their behalf. They are invited to record accounts on the AMEXCYP market platform using their specialized link.
“Here is an opportunity to make X3 of your investment without hidden expenses or 100% withdrawal fees safely. And also have access to your trading account. Send us a message now to start,” said one of their advertising items.
Zimbabwe residents lose funds due to the False Investment Platform
According to reports, the platform has other types of advertisements spread over Facebook, targeting the country's without distrust. “Other platforms can vacillate, but we remain the best place for safe and secure trades in the Zimbabwe. However, it was discovered that the platform had no connection with Innbucks, the platform publishing a message on its Facebook page warning its users. “Stay vigilant, stay safe. According to surveys carried out by Bulawayo24Messages from the false trading platform have a WhatsApp number attached, with the number belonging to an agent called Michelle Chiunda, saying that she came from Innbucks Investment on Facebook. The attached number connects only via WhatsApp and a call is always received by a part which is unconscious of the commercial investment platform or its WhatsApp account.
After investigation, “Chiunda” said that the WhatsApp number had been recorded on behalf of his sister, saying that the name, Katanda, who was attached to the number, is also his last name. Meanwhile, by calling the number, a woman who did not seem to have replied that her number was used to attract people in Innbucks investment on Facebook, stressing the fact that the number could have been hacked.

Confirming the advertisement carried out on Facebook, Chiunda said that if a customer in Zimbabwe invests $ 100 on the platform, the company will take care of exchanges on behalf by using its self-electronic mining machine. This machine is 100% guaranteed to lock all incoming profits, it also maintains the stable commercial signal to prevent any negative effect of market capitalization, “she said.
She added that the trade takes 24 hours to be completed, and once finished, the user is guaranteed X10 of his investment, while the company retains the remaining X3 of the profit. Chiunda said Zimbabwe users can receive their benefits from any account, stressing that they pay in Ecocash, Innbucks or Mukuru. She mentioned that as soon as a user means their intention to invest, a link is sent to them where he can register.
For a user in Zimbabwe enrolling on the trading platform, he must send his contact details to Chiunda to help them register or click on the AmexcycyPmarket link that she sends them. After registration, the user should send him a screenshot of the interface before continuing his initial investment from $ 50.
She also said that the platform was in association with Innbucks, a part that had already moved away from the scam, and said the authorities had been alerted.
