If you are still not sure what to watch this week, here is a preview of the most anticipated films and programs that make their debut in theaters and on your OTT screens.
Bhool chuk maaf (May 9) – Theaters
Located in Varanasi, Bhool Chuk Maaf follows Ranjan, played by Rajkummar Rao, who is trapped in a time loop just before her marriage to Titli, played by Wamiqa Gabbi. He wakes up several times on the day of his Haldi ceremony, trying to free himself from the loop. The film explores the themes of love, fate and redemption while Ranjan sails in its difficult situation.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 (May 9) – Theaters
The film tells the story of Veera Mallu, the first Indian to orchestrate a revolt against the Mughal Empire. Pawan Kalyan plays the titular role. Anupam Kher, Nora Fatehi, Nargis Fakhri and Bobby Deol are also part of the project.
Shadow force (May 9) – Theaters
The film revolves around a separate couple with a bonus on the head. They must go to flight with their son to avoid their former employer and an OPS omple unit that was sent to kill them.
Spring of Youth (May 6) – Viki
The K-Drame tells the story of his Gye, a member of a K-Pop group, which is suddenly ousted from its group. With his ruin career, he enrolled at the University of Hanju, where he meets his new friends and begins a life away from the spotlight.
The Dev's Plan Season 2 (May 6) – Netflix
The new season brings a mixture of return and new competitors to compete in the spirit and strategy games that rise to determine who is the most brutally of all.
Blood of Zeus Season 3 (May 8) – Netflix
The last season of the Netflix animated series revolves around Heron and Gods, which are faced with their most dangerous opponents to date. The gods must work together to restore order, while facing the anger of Hera and the growing power of the Titans.
Forever (May 8) – Netflix
Inspired by the novel by Brock Akil in 1975, Forever Follows the history of the epic love of two black adolescents, Keisha and Justin, while they sail in the first love and intimacy in the midst of social and parental pressures.
Good ugly (May 8) – Netflix
Pulled by the South Superstar Ajith Kumar, the film follows an old gangster which is forced to return to his notorious ways after his son was kidnapped. The cast also includes Arjun Das, Trisha Krishnan, Shine Tom Chacko and Rahul Dev in key roles.
The Royals (May 9) – Netflix
The web series presents Bhumi Pednekar in the role of Sophia Shekhar, modern CEO, and Ishaan Khatter as Prince Aviraaj Singh. The intrigue explores the confrontation between their worlds, presenting themes of love, personal growth and challenges of the reconciliation of traditional royalty with modern life.
Gram Chikitsalay (May 9) – Video premium
With Amol Parashar, the series follows the history of Dr. Prabhat, a city doctor who takes up the challenge of relaunching a neglected primary health center in the rural village of Bhatkandi.
