Aamir Khan to skip the Ott road
According to Hollywood Reporter IndiaAamir wishes to opt for a payment model for the comedy drama Sitaare Zameen by and not to publish it on an OTT platform. The film aims at an release on June 20 in theaters.
After the release on the big screen, Sitaare Zameen by will be available for payment by view on YouTube two months later.
Currently, Hindi Films is first on OTT eight weeks after their theater release, which AMIR also called before. Now Aamir should tackle the problem in his own way.
“Aamir does not want to release his films directly in streaming after their theatrical race, because he discourages viewers to watch movies on the big screen. This is also a reason why there is no streaming logo on the poster of Sitaare Zameen by,” said a source.

The film marks Aamir's return to the cinemas after the debacle of his last outing, Laal Singh Chaddha.
Earlier in an interview with The Hollywood ReporterAamir spoke of Sitaare Zameen by, saying: “Well, it's a great story. In fact, the simplest way I can describe it is that Taare Zameen by is a very emotional film that makes you cry. Sitaare Zameen by makes you laugh; It is a humorous film.
He also shared that the suite will go beyond the original. Aamir said: “In many ways, I think it is ahead of Taare Zameen by, because in Taare Zameen by, the person having the challenge – Ishaan – was helped by my character. In Sitaare Zameen by, there are ten people with challenges that help me well. ”
