25 years of launch of NASA students

The students of the Amherst team from the University of Massachusetts carry their high power rocket to the launching ramp of the launching competition for students in 2025 NASA in 2025 in Toney, Alabama, April 4, 2025. More than 980 students from the college, high schools and colleges from across the country launched more than 40 high -power rockets in the Hutntville. This year has marked the 25th anniversary of the competition.

To compete, students follow the life cycle of NASA Engineering Design via a series of criticisms for nine months preceding the day of the launch. Each year, a challenge in charge is issued to university teams and this year's task focused on communication. The teams must have “reports” of Stemnauts, non -lively objects inside their rocket, which were to relay data in real time to control the mission of the student team. This artemis student challenge was inspired by the agency's artemis missions, where NASA will send astronauts to explore the moon for scientific discovery, economic advantages and to build the bases of the first missions equipped in Mars.
